Mount Argus, Bequests: MassesL copy, in the writing of Salvian Nardocci, C.P., of a protest by the Community of Mount Argus against the acceptance of a bequest for perpetual Masses (see item under serial number 2769, which probably refers). Reference is made in the protest to a tablet about these masses which is in sacristy. The reference is, of course, to the old sacristy for the church before the extension was completed. The present location of this tablet is not now known.

There is a good house standing in 2 acres, Got the place and fixtures for £3,000 and now there will be £4,000 to build church, and £100 per year for 3 years.
