Letter from +Ryan, Bon Secour’s Hospital, Cork to +McQuaid stating he has been inundated with greetings from Trinidad. The Holy See has finally ended the association between the Port of Spain Diocese and the Dominicans. He mentions the birth prevention programme announced by the Trinidad government. Rev. Wm. Bvrne to L. Offers his apelogies for the conduct of an irreligious multitude on Sunday last at L.'s residence; will accept any punishment L. cares to impose on him, and will take himself to any remote part of the diocese which L. may care te send him. Witnessed by Rev. dohn Meagher. (2 pp.) Ballingarry, 10 Oet. Rev. Edmd. Prendergas The parish priest ef Ballingarry objects to the P.P. of the neighbourinq parish of killenaule, holding a Station in a townland belonginq to the former parish; the case arose out of this townland being in the Protestant parish ef Kilcooly, but the Catholic and Protestant parishes are not exactly co-extensive; asks t.. te have the P.p. in question restrained from holding the station; in former days this townland was famous for its hurling green, and whenever abuses arose it was the P.p.
