Memorial photographic print of Fr. Dominic O’Connor OFM Cap. The caption reads: ‘zealous Chaplain to the martyred Mayors of Cork, Tomas MacCurtain and Terence McSwiney, remained ever loyal to the cause of the Irish Republic’. The memorial notes that Fr. Dominic ‘died in exile in Bend, Oregon, U.S.A. in 1935. In June 1958, the remains were repatriated and re-interred in the Capuchin Cemetery in Rochestown, County Cork’.

Memorial to the Lord Mayor and Aldermen of Dublin from the Burgesses of Inns Quay and Arran Quay referring to the ‘great want of proper dwelling house accommodation’ suitable for the ‘upwards of 180 persons’ engaged in business at the new food market. The memorial requests that the Corporation widen Mary’s Lane and erect proper artisans’ houses. A list of subscribers (and their addresses) is appended to the memorial. The list includes John Jameson, Fr. Nicholas Murphy OSFC and many local vegetable and fruit sellers.

Menu card for a Unionist Banquet held in The Rotunda, Dublin, on 26 January 1893. The event was held to honour several Unionists MPs. The politicians were Horace Plunkett (1854-1932), the Irish Unionist Alliance MP for South Dublin from 1892 to 1900. Hugh Oakeley Arnold-Forster (1855-1909), the Liberal Unionist MP for West Belfast from 1892 to 1906. Richard Martin Dane (1852-1903), MP for North Fermanagh from 1892 to 1898. William Kenny QC (1846-1921), MP for St. Stephen’s Green (Dublin) from 1892 to 1898, and John Ross QC (1853-1935), MP for Londonderry city from 1892 to 1895.
