Copy architectural, ordnance survey and sketch maps for an apartment and office development at the Bow Street Friary site. Includes copy plans by James Ahern, architects, 29 Belgrove Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3. (Scale: 1:500). The Bow Street Friary site comprised 1,544 square meters. Some of the plans relate to the proposal for the new Capuchin Friary on Church Street.

Copy assignment by Charles Henry Jermyn and Aileen Dorothy Jermyn to the trustees of the Protestant Hall and Assembly Rooms Association of several leasehold premises located at no. 22 South Mall (known as the Assembly Rooms), vested in the late Charles Jermyn, father of the said Charles Henry Jermyn. Numerous annotations in pencil have been made to the copy by solicitors indicating that the trustees (also termed ‘vendors’) intend to sell their interest in the respective leases at public auction. The assignment recites the will made by the late James Montgomery Blair (dated 6 Nov. 1838) and the appointment of Jeremiah Easter as his sole executor (See CA KK/2/1/1/3/1). The deed assigns all the real estate and leasehold property situated in Kilkenny city formerly belonging to James Montgomery Blair and which were bequeathed to Jeremiah Easter by the aforementioned will to his daughters Frances and Grace Blair. Consideration: £100.

Assignment by Pierce Power, Cork, to Thomas Hewat, William Street, Dublin, trustee for the Provincial Bank of Ireland, of the premises in the parish of Holy Trinity, Cork, demised by a lease of 1 Jan. 1846 (see CA HT/2/1/1/9) and for the residue of the term granted by the said lease. In trust with a power of sale for said premises under certain conditions.

Copy memorial of an assignment from Bryan Sheehy and others, assignees of the estate of Paul Benson, merchant, to Charles Ferguson, of the residue of a lease of 900 years held by Benson from Ebenezer Morrison (dated 6 May 1776) of premises on Morrison’s Island at the yearly rent of £54.

Assignment from John Smith, Phibsborough, to William Rice Meredith, Summer Hill, Dublin, of the messuage, tenements and dwelling house referred to in the conveyance of 11 Feb. 1784 (CA CS/2/2/3/1) subject to a covenant for perpetual renewal and in trust for the use of his brother, Henry Smith, an ironmonger, Capel Street, Dublin. Copy assignment from Margaret Empson, Parliament Street, Kilkenny, widow of Joseph Empson, and her children named as Richard Empson, apothecary, Joseph Empson, shopkeeper, John Empson, civil engineer, Montreal, British America, Eliza Jones (née Empson), wife of Robert Patten Jones, Palmerston House, County Kilkenny, Anne Empson, Rathgar Road, Dublin, and Ruth Empson, spinster, Parliament Street, Kilkenny, to Arthur Joshua Boyd, solicitor, The Parade, Kilkenny city, of the freehold properties held by the late Joseph Empson in trust for the children of Margaret Empson aforesaid. With copy schedule of the properties to which the foregoing deed refers. Number eight in the schedule refers to the house and concerns on Walkin Street held under a lease of lives renewable forever dated 25 May 1835. (See CA KK/2/1/1/1/4).
