File of fifteen colour postcard prints showing various views (exterior and aerial) of Ard Mhuire Capuchin Friary and Retreat Centre, Creeslough, County Donegal. There are multiple copies of some of the postcards and most are annotated on the reverse with captions and information regarding printers and publishers. Printed titles on the postcards include ‘Capuchin Franciscan Friary’, ‘Ard Mhuire, Cresslough, County Donegal’, ‘Capuchin Theological Seminary, Ard Mhuire’ and ‘Centre for Retreats, Conference and Seminars’.

Berard Creed OFM Cap., the FMC Trust and others to Donal Herlihy of the dwelling and premises known as the Assembly Rooms, 22 South Mall (lot 1), held under a lease dated 17 Oct. 1840 (CA/HT/2/1/1/11) and part of a car park held under a lease dated 1 Jan. 1846 (CA/HT/2/1/1/9) for the purchase money of £300,000. With copy ordnance survey map delineating the said properties. Endorsed on title page with manuscript annotation: ‘Never proceeded with, 23 Sept. 1987’.

Lease from Benjamin Whitestone, Cork, to William Clark, merchant, of a cellar, yard and linnies formerly in the possession of Paul Benson and ‘containing in front to the quay seventy-five feet and in depth at the east end thereof two hundred and twenty four feet situated on Red Abbey Island in the city of Cork’, for 800 years at the yearly rent of £70. With attached sketch map of the premises titled: ‘A map of cellars, linnies and yards near Parliament Bridge, let by Mr Benjamin Whitestone to Mr William Clark delineated in foot measurement, October 24th 1781, by Patrick [Ahern]’.

Probate of the will of Sir William Saint Lawrence Travers

Probate of the last will and testament of Sir William Saint Lawrence Travers, Rosmore, County Cork. He devises and bequeaths to his wife Elizabeth Barbara all his estate and property (real and personal) and appoints her his residuary legatee. Sir William died on 31 Aug. 1877 and his will was proved on 17 Nov. 1877. It is noted in the probate that the ‘effects sworn’ amounted to ‘under £3,000’.

Copy schedules and affidavits prepared for the High Court of Justice of Ireland (Probate Division) in relation to the personal estate and effects of Robert Warner, late of 71 Penrose Quay, Cork.
