A copy of ‘Clár Cuimhneacháin / Comóradh i gcuimhne Thomáis Dáibhís, Magh Ealla, 1942’ (Baile Átha Cliath: Seamus Ó Dubhthaig & a Chomlucht, 1942). A commemorative booklet reflecting on the life of the Irish nationalist Thomas Davis. Inserts in the volume include newspaper clippings re celebrations marking the centenary of the foundation of ‘The Nation’ newspaper by Davis, and a signed menu card for a dinner marking the centenary in Mallow, County Cork (including the signature of Éamon de Valera).

A bound volume containing newspaper clippings containing a transcription by An tAthair Peadar Ó Laoghaire of a medieval text on the life of Colum Cille (also known as Columba) (c.521-597), the founder of the monastery of Iona. The articles also contain translations and textual notes. The clippings are undated, but all the articles are headed ‘Our Gaelic Department / Colum Cille’ and are likely taken from the ‘Cork Examiner’.
