The original caption reads ‘A powerful cartoon, specially drawn for the ‘Weekly Dispatch’, by the famous Dutch artist Raemaekers. Britannia, with loyal Ireland, is seen on guard against the enemy, while the Sinn Feiner, abetted by the Hun, lurks to stab them in the back’.
