An image of Donal Óg Ó Ceallacháin (Donal O’Callaghan), front row, third from the left, Lord Mayor of Cork, with some Capuchin friars in 1921. Ó Ceallacháin succeeded Terence MacSwiney (d. 25 Oct 1920) as Lord Mayor in November 1920. He was the third republican mayor elected in Cork. Later, he was opposed to the Anglo-Irish Treaty. The group also includes Frank Daly (1884-1950), seated, second from the left, who served as mayor from 1930-2, and was later a TD for Cork from 1943-8. Professor PJ Merriman, President of University College Cork, seated, third from the right, is also present. The friars include Fr. Fiacre Brophy OFM Cap. (1888-1926), seated, first on the left, Fr. Martin Hyland OFM Cap (1881-1933), seated, fourth from the left. The group also includes Mr. Simcox, Mike Ahern (Prefect of the Third Order of St. Francis), Fr. Finbarr O’Callaghan OFM Cap., Fr. Bernardine Harvey OFM Cap., Fr. Clement Connolly OFM Cap., Fr. Fidelis Neary OFM Cap., (standing, third from the left), Fr. Pius Duggan OFM Cap., and Fr. Angelus Healy OFM Cap. Programmes for the Father Mathew Feis, Church Street. The printed programmes include timetables and syllabuses of competitions, souvenir publications and official prize lists. The programmes list the dates and times of the competitions and the names of the various judges and adjudicators. The adjudicators at the 1913 Feis included Sinéad Ní Fhlannagáin (1878-1975) and Seán S. Ó Ceallaigh (otherwise known as ‘Sceilg’, 1872-1957). Eoin MacNeill (1867-1945) was a literary judge at the 1910 Feis. The programmes for 1909 and 1911 are copy prints from 'The Father Mathew Record'. Programmes for the following years are not extant in the file: 1912; 1932-39.

Plan delineating the boundary of demised house, yards and shed at 21 Bow Street. The plot is bounded to north by 22 Bow Street, a passage way and a school house, and to the east by the Chapel Yard and Curtins’ Yard. The frontage onto Bow Street measures 38 feet 4 inches. An annotation in the left-hand margin of the plan reads: ‘The red line indicates the boundary’.

Sketch map of St. Joseph’s Cemetery ‘5 acres 2 roods 0 perches, late botanic gardens, representatives of Rev. Fr. Theobald Mathew’, bordered by ‘South Spittal Lands’ and by ‘the back road to the cemetery called on [the] city map “Tory Top Lane”’. The map also shows various numbered denominations of land possibly on the former Botanic Gardens' site. A numbered schedule of deeds and lease (nos. 3-16), possibly relating to the aforementioned site, is extant on the reverse of the sketch map.

‘Lists of applications for Church Street made by Dispossessed Tenants’. The lists provide the names of local tenants who are seemingly occupying tenements, their addresses, and occupations. Notes are made of which tenants responded to ‘cards sent out’ and those which did not. With a cover sent to Fr. Nicholas Murphy OSFC by ‘Labourers’ Dwellings and Lodging-Houses, Corporation of Dublin’.
