The print is on the reverse of a memorial card which notes that he was professed on 17 Sept. 1925; Ordained Priest on 3 July 1927; Ordained Bishop on 25 July 1949. He served as Bishop of Kokstad until 1978.

A distinction is made between locations with both churches and mission schools and areas where only a school is present. A manuscript stamp indicates that the map was sent to Fr. Edwin Fitzgibbon OFM Cap., Provincial Minister, St. Bonaventure’s Friary, Cork.
