Reference is made to the necessity of keeping the Order and mission accounts separate and to the sum of £825 refunded to the Bishop of Cape Town ‘in full settlement of money expended by the Vicariate in the Welcome Estate’.

The information is listed under name, year of arrival, details of posting (whether to Northern Rhodesia/Zambia or to South Africa) and remarks. Information is also supplied in respect of whether the friar in question is deceased. The list notes that Fr. Canice Bourke OFM Cap. and Fr. Edward Walsh OFM Cap. travelled to Cape Town in January 1929 on a tour of inspection of potential mission territories.
