Blessed Charles - Cause;- Informative Process - letter from Urban Young, Herne Bay, to Gerald O'Boyle. Urban had acted as Vice-Postulator in the cause of Blessed Dominic and he gives some practical advice to Gerald on how to proceed. Mentions that there would be no objection from Rome to Oswald Donnelly publishing his life of Charles while the process was in progress.

Missions and Retreats: Miscellneous Documents newscutting from "Catholic News" (Sout Africa?) entitled "Missions to NonCatholics". Contains a 16 line paragraph (marked in red) in which the approach of a fanous Passionist is held up as the way NOT to do it!!. Fr. Declan O'Sulivan added a note to the original chronological index card as follows: " an educated guess suggests the CP. was Fr. Ignatius Gibney or Fr. Pius Carolan or Fr. Leonard McCabe - most likely, Ignatius Gibney. This "educated guess" of of Declan's would seem to be wide of the mark, as Ignatius died in 1952, Pius in 1930 ans Leonard n 1966, whereas the author, writing in 1928 says the CP was deceased.
Blessed Charles - Cause;- Informative Process - draft of a letter (partial) from Gerald O'Boyle to Msgr. Howlett, Adm., Westminister Cathedral. Gerald mentions the case of Miss McCartney (see item under srial no, 6116) re Lt. Col McCartney who is prepared to give evidence of her cure to the Msgr. Gerald is anxious to know whether the favour mentioned by the Lt.Col. would justify the setting up of a Rogatorial Process in Westminister. (N.B., This draft is only a partial one and there is no reply extant. However, it or another such must have been despatched as a rogatorial process was held in Westmnister at which Dr. McCartney gave evidence v. p IV of Tabella Testum and pp 12 & 36-37 of Summarium Super Dubio at 34-19 (A) or (B))

Young. Father Henry: Maguire, Mrs., Conor, "Father Henry Young (1786-1869) by Mrs. Conor Maguire. Fr. Young was working for years in Harold's Cross and was a contemporary of Blessed Charles.
