Report of first Visitation of All Hallows since Vincentian Administration 1894

Eight-page report letter from Thomas Morrissey CM, Provincial, St Joseph's Blackrock, to 'my dear Lord Archbishop' regarding his recent visitation to All Hallows College. Morrissey writes it is his first visitation to the College since the Vincentian Fathers took over its administration. Morrissey gives a report on his visitation, including a break-down of how many students have taken which subjects (theology, divinity, philosophy and rhetoric) over the last three years.
He gives his report under the headings of 'discipline', 'health', 'studies', 'finances' and 'property'.
There is also a typewritten transcription of the letter.

Possibility of handing over All Hallows College to Columbans

File of draft letters regarding the question of transferring the administration of All Hallows College from the Vincentians to the Maynooth Mission for China, which was run by the Columbans, The suggestion came about due to the declining number of students, as well as the need of the Maynooth Mission for China for a major seminary for their own students. The letters show that the Vincentians do not want this transfer to take place. Some drafts are written by Father Thomas O'Donnell CM, Rector of All Hallows College, and there are contributions by Henry O'Connor CM, Provincial.

O'Connor CM, Henry, 1883-1960, Provincial of Irish Vincentian Province
