1- 4 March 1958 Correspondence between +McQuaid and +Levame in relation to five Hungarian men who founded a Conference of St. Vincent de Paul in Hungary before 1948. They wished to transform this into a new Religious Congregation which was disapproved by both Cardinal Mindszenty and the Holy See. These men have since fled to various parts of the world and two of them are being sought by the Italian authorities for obtaining money under false pretences from kind hearted Catholics. They are currently supposed to be in Lisbon, going under the names Brothers Egidius and Nicholas. He believes they may try to visit Ireland and all should be warned of their deception. +McQuaid states that they have not yet been to Ireland and believes the Department for External Affairs could be advised to refuse them a visa.

Letter from +Alibrandi to +McQuaid thanking him for the dinner and breakfast sets. He is most grateful and will always remember his generosity and kindness to him personally as well as his loyalty to the Holy See.

He would like an account of the activities undertaken by the Bishop during these years which can be sent to the Holy See to facilitate the compilation of a congratulatory letter.
