              Typed report on John Huston, film Director. Quotes Myron C. Fagan saying that he is “one of the most effective leaders and planners for the Communist cause in Hollywood….. one of their best ‘money getters’.” (Documentation of The Red Stars in Hollywood (p.69), by Myron C. Fagan, National Director, Cinema Education Guild, Cole Branch, Hollywood.) The Fourth Report of the Senate Fact-Finding Committee on Un- American Activities 1948 deals with the Communist Front Organizations: Committee for the first Amendment [sic] and Freedom from Fear Committee. The purpose of the Committee for the first Amendment is a Communist front is to create favourable public opinion for Communists who refuse to testify before the House Committee on Un-American Activities in Washington. Regarding the Freedom from Fear Committee, a testimonial dinner was held on the 5 March 1948 in Beverly Hills for the Hollywood Ten.

              Letter from Micheal O Tuathail, C.C.T.P.A. to +McQuaid informing him that it is the opinion of his Committee that the pamphlet Documentation of the Red Stars in Hollywood by Myron C. Fagan is the most authoritative document on the subject of Communism in Hollywood.
