              correspondence between the Presentation, Fermoy, and the Irish Department of Education concerning the "rationalization" of Fermoy schools, the request that the Department train Sisters for teaching, agreement of the Department to train two Sisters on condition that they give up the secondary school and concentrate on the primary school, the "rationalization" proposed that the Loreto Sisters of Fermoy take responsibility for the education of secondary girls in Fermoy and the Presentation primary girls, buildings needed to be upgraded before rationalization, letter of acceptance by Presentation of rationalization.
