Hyde will refer to it in his column in the Catholic Herald. The Irish Democrat dropped the section of his paragraph which linked the Connolly Association with the Communist Party.

Report by Douglas Hyde on ‘Communist Group Discussion Method’. In his opinion Communist indoctrination courses are successful because of the methods they employ and because they relate to the lives of those taking the course. His aim is to get two or three points accepted by everybody in the class and in such a way that the participants think they themselves arrived at the conclusion.
