              Includes; letters and cards from Sr. Carmel Kennefick, Presentation Sister from both Crosshaven, County Cork and Globe, Arizona, U.S.A. to Sr. Rosario Allen, South Presentation Convent, Douglas Street, Cork. Some letters were written while Sr. Carmel was on holidays in Ireland. Some letters and cards were written while Sr. Carmel was on mission in Globe. The letters and cards describe their great interest in Nano Nagle and their desire to have her canonised; the design of the new tomb; express concern of one another’s families; newspaper cutting entitled ‘Presentation Sister dies unexpectedly’ and death notice of Sr. Carmel on 10 September 1988. File has been arranged in chronological order.

              Includes; letters from Sr Raphael Considine, in Australia to Sr. Rosario Allen, South Presentation Convent, Cork, dated 1980 to 1999. In her letters Sr. Raphael thanks Sr. Rosario for her hospitality each time she visits South Presentation Convent. Sr. Raphael gives updates on her progress of the books which she is writing on Nano Nagle and the Presentation Sisters. She gives details of her visits to the Presentation Sisters missions in India, Pakistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the Philippines. Sr. Raphael makes arrangements for other Sisters and lay people to visit South Presentation Covent. File also includes a letter to Sr. Anthony Moloney, Sr. Lelia Kaar and Sr. Ambrose; Letter from Sr. Raphael to the Sisters requesting their help to enable her to write a short book on explaining the changes in apostolic religious life after Vatican11; Presentation Mission Link November 1994; and letter from Sr. Bernadette Keating,” Cove Lane”, St. James Parade, Elsternwick 3184, to Presentation Sisters, 21 Ashdene, South Douglas Road, Cork, Ireland, 12 May 2000, giving details of Sr. Raphael’s last illness and death and including the eulogy given at her funeral.
