13-19 April 1963 Correspondence between +Sensi to +McQuaid regarding the possibility of representatives of Irish lighthouse- keepers attending a meeting in honour of St. Venerio. He is the patron saint of Italian lighthouse-keepers and a celebration is being held on the Island of Tino where his remains are kept. He hopes the Archbishop will be able to assist in this matter. +McQuaid contacts Commander A. O’Brien, Lota, Coliemore Road, Dalkey in relation to this and he sees no problem. He is asked to take responsibility for this. The representative will be guests of the Italians and will remain there for 3-4 days.
