              Letter from +Joseph A. Carroll to +McQuaid regarding a suitable priest for the Nunciature. He suggests Fr. Enda Lloyd, a curate in Sutton or Fr. John Jones, chaplain to the Mercy Convent, Arklow. One obvious difficulty is their present location within the Archdiocese.

He needs to take into account the brevity of notice, the difficulty of the programme, the expense and assurance of genuine success. He states the Nuncio is aware that if we can not guarantee a worthy performance, then we should not go.
