              Circular letter from Barcelona regarding the consecration of a new Co-Adjutor Archbishop, the first such appointment since Vatican II in which the Spanish State has expressed its privilege of presentation. This has been widely debated in the media, in a negative manner. The present situation in Catalonia is outlined. The new Co-Adjutor has been asked to step down.
