Michael Cleary on the Late Late Show of 11th December and Sunday Independent of 12th December saying that “Sinn Fein is Communist inspired and controlled.” This statement is without foundation. These remarks have caused distress to members. He requests the Archbishop to ask Fr. Cleary to substantiate his charges or desist from making allegations of this nature.
