Note to +McQuaid stating that the mass to be held that evening in Adam & Eve’s church for the recovery of Senator Kennedy is now to be a requiem mass. He has been invited by the John F. Kennedy Association in Dublin to celebrate this mass. He does not know if the Government will request a public mass and the Nuncio does not wish to ‘inject’ himself on any such proposal nor does he think that it would clash with the current arrangement.
