Fr. Mokncree was originally belonging to the Cashel diocese, but was granted an exeat during the inter-regnum in 1622; as a Vicar-Capitular cannot grant a definitive exeat, Fr. MoEncree was never fully released from Cashelk/ altheugh Dr. t. is his request to return is quite legal, reluctant to let him go; testifies to Fr. Mctnereets good character and zeal. Dr. Laffan has added a note giving text of original 'exest' grsnted by him (L.) en 13 July 1922.
