Letter from +Joseph A. Carroll to +McQuaid regarding a suitable priest for the Nunciature. He suggests Fr. Enda Lloyd, a curate in Sutton or Fr. John Jones, chaplain to the Mercy Convent, Arklow. One obvious difficulty is their present location within the Archdiocese.

Note for +McQuaid regarding a request from Deputy Commissioner Carroll asking the Archbishop to help with their investigation into the Ballybrack murder. He suggests that appeals for information be made in all Churches. Annotated by +McQuaid.

Copy letter from +McQuaid to Mgr. Felici regarding Brendan O’Carroll. He states the not all the facts have been provided by Mr. O’Carroll. The property is not owned by the Loreto Community and the matter has been in the Courts twice and is now sub judice in the High Court. He states O’Carroll has also appealed to the Holy See. He feels it best not to intervene once Civil Law has been invoked.
