Sam Nolan, with clinched fist, demanded that unions call a one-day strike. Tributes were paid to the clergy of the Church of Ireland for their help. The Committee was organizing in every large housing area – Ballyfermot, Cabra, etc. Decided to publish own newspaper. Intend to change the system.

Curran, J.F., Cabra Road, Dublin. There is discontent among the Catholics in the parish owing to the neglect of the Parochial Clergy.

Rooney, Eamon, 26 Annomoe Gardens, Cabra. Asks the Archbishop to use his influence to have the Old Age Pension increased from 1/- to 5/- .

Boyd, Theresa, 118 Dingle Road, Cabra West. Her husband is in prison and she asks the Archbishop’s help in having him transferred from Portrush to Mountjoy.
