Brennan has been appointed as President of St. Patrick’s College, Carlow, so he must resign his position on I.E.R. Fr. Duff is willing to take over Fr. Correspondence between Fr. James Duff, Maynooth, and +McQuaid. Fr. Duff cannot continue as editor of the I.E.R. due to the workload which came as a result of his appointment as Vice-President of the College. He will act as Editor until Dr. Brennan is free to replace him.

Letter from M. Brennan to +McQuaid saying both Fr. Duff and he hoped somebody else had been chosen for the post in the meantime.
