The committee intends to build a church in Rome dedicated to the ‘Queenship of Our Lady’. In order to do this, the ‘Opera Regalita Maria’ has been founded to gather offering throughout the world and he hopes that the appeal will find ‘…wide answering by the women of…’ the Archdiocese.

Letter from +Sensi to +McQuaid thanking him for the circular which was addressed to the clergy of the Archdiocese concerning the liturgy for Good Friday and the Saturday Vigil.

He has also contacted non-Catholic clergy. He also states that Dublin has already had a very ‘fruitful’ collection for Pakistan and does not feel it would be right to impose another collection on the Archdiocese. He suggests Friday 15th October as a fast day.
