A handwritten volume containing entries from the foundation of Durrow Convent in 1914 up until its closure in 1997. The entries cover important events in the life of the Convent such as the purchase of Castle Durrow, the end of the rule of enclosure, the expansion of the convent and schools, the amalgamation of St. Fintan’s college with other secondary schools, the sale of of the convent and the exit of the Presentation community from Durrow.
