              Copy letter from +McQuaid to +Alexander Vachon regarding correspondence he sent to Mr. Hearne, Secretary of the Department of External Affairs hoping to secure the services of young priests. He suggests he should place the matter before the Irish Bishops and he has sent the letter for inclusion in the next meeting. He also mentions the invitation he received to attend the Congress of Our Blessed Lady and while he would like to be there, he fears he will be in Rome for the Ad Limina visit which has not taken place for ten years.
